Teaching Programme

Musicality Seminar on Melodic Bridges PLUS Two Dance Workshops

Musicality Seminar - Melodic Bridges

A good understanding of how the music works helps dancers to express themselves in social dancing and gives them a broader and richer vocabulary to rely on.

Melodic Bridges are one of the four elements of the music. This seminar will explore what they are, how they work, how to dance them and how to interpret them in relation to the other layers of the music.

The seminar will also examine how melodic bridges have evolved through the different eras of Tango music. The 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s.

Dance Workshops

This year we also have two dance workshops. One on Musicality in Milonga, and one on New ideas for Pugliese, Hugo Diaz or new orchestras.
